Our mission is to prepare young athletes for future opportunities by focusing on core technical and tactical skills, including ball control, decision-making, and dribbling.​
Understanding the importance of consistent ball contact during these formative years, we integrate futsal into our training program — a sport renowned for accelerating skill acquisition and player development.

PURPOSE
Competitiveness in life and sport is fierce, and with each new generation the world presents us with new idols and new young players who dream to become the future football stars.
Historically, British culture placed limited emphasis on futsal for children aged 6 to 14. However, in recent years, this mindset has begun to shift. Today, there are over 20 futsal teams in London and clear sign of the sport’s growing recognition.

As Brazilian players and coaches with firsthand experience in futsal’s developmental benefits, we are proud to bring this unique perspective to the UK. We firmly believe that our approach will make a significant contribution to the growth and development of young athletes aged 6 to 14.
TEAM
The Brazil Development Academy was founded based on the personal journey of Edegelson Ricci, a former athlete who, in 2003, had to set aside his dream of becoming a professional footballer due to a lack of opportunities and exposure.

Edegelson began playing futsal at the age of six and continued until he was 14, at which point he transitioned to outdoor football. Despite his passion and dedication, he stopped playing competitively at 19 to support his family, as opportunities were scarce at the time.
​
Today, Edegelson Ricci is the head coach and founder of his own academy, where he shares his extensive knowledge and experience.
With over 15 years of coaching in both futsal and football, he is committed to guiding young athletes and helping them access the opportunities he once lacked.
